2015 Upper Midwest Golden Gloves 147 pound champion Angel Pacheco of Saint Cloud, MN will make is UFC debut tonight in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Pacheco (7-2 MMA) will face Caolan Laughran (8-1) of Ireland in a UFC Fight Night preliminary bout to be shown live on ESPN2 and ESPN+ Pacheco got into MMA as a teenager and was always a good striker, stating that his favorite punch is either the left hook to the head or body.
Pacheco, 31, trains under coach Brock Larsen at Start BJJ and earned a UFC contract after engaging in what is considered Dana White’s Contender Series’ most exciting bout ever against Danny Silva last September.
