FRIDAY, JULY 15, 2022 – NOON SESSION
Lilly Gulbrandson of Parkers Prairie, MN vs. Sereya Widner of Billings, MT in a 145 pound intermediate female semi finals bout. RING 3, BOUT 5.
THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2022 – NOON SESSION
Guinevere Lee of Burnsville, MN lost 5-0 on points to Naomi Hernandez of Phoenix, AR in a 114 pound intermediate female bout.
Lilly Gulbrandson of Parkers Prairie, MN won a 3-2 decision over Jacelle Hughes of Cibolo, Texas in a 145 pound intermediate female bout.
Madison McDonald of Minneapolis, MN lost a 5-0 decision to Britney Martinez of Merced, CA in a Pee Wee Female, 9-10, 65 pound bout.
Hannah Dokka of Alexandria, MN won by walkover over Marlene Jaime of Austin, TX in a intermediate female 90 pound bout.
THURSDAY, JULY 14, 2022 – 6 PM SESSION
Timothy Greer of Minneapolis, MN vs. Joseph Awinongya of Joliet, IL in a junior male, 132 pound bout. This will be Greer’s second bout of the tournament. RING 3, BOUT 6.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 13, 2022 – NOON SESSION
#1 seeded Morgan McDonald of Minneapolis, MN was unable to make weight giving Elias Fonoti of McMinnville, OR the walkover win in a 114 pound intermediate male bout.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 13, 2022 – 6 PM SESSION
Timothy Greer of Minneapolis, MN scored an impressive 5-0 win over Jomar Carroll of Shreveport, LA in a 132 pound junior male bout.
TUESDAY, JULY 12, 2022 – 6 PM SESSION (NO MN BOXERS IN ACTION AT NOON)
#2 seeded Isayah Smith of Duluth, MN lost a 4-1 decision to Joseph Wimbush of Philadelphia, PA in a132 pound Elite Male bout. Smith used his reach advantage to out-jab and counter Wimbush. It was a close fight with Smith having a good argument to have won more rounds, specifically round two which the judges somehow game to the PA boxer.
Hser Htoo, Saint Paul, MN lost a 5-0 decision to Santiago Veloz of Atwater, CA in a 112 Youth Male bout. It was a good, close fight.
RESULTS FROM MONDAY, JULY 11, 2022 – 6 PM SESSION
Jesus Ruiz of Saint Cloud, MN lost by RSC 3 to Sebastian Munoz of El Paso, Texas in a Youth Male 125 pound bout. It was a fun competitive bout. A body shot is what caused the ref to stop the fight.
