JUSTUS POMEROY LOOKS FOR SECOND PRO WIN, ARATH BAUTISTA LUNA TURNS PRO TONIGHT IN IOWA

Justus Pomeroy (1-0) of Winona, MN and training out of Longevity Boxing Club and Arath Bautista Luna (debut) who resides in Richfield, MN and trains out of CMB Boxing Gym will be part of a card taking place at the Teamsters Hall in Cedar Rapids, Iowa tonight (Saturday, April 27, 2024).

29 year old southpaw Justus Pomeroy battles Micah Youngbear (debut) of Tama Iowa in a four round welterweight bout. Pomeroy defeated Tremiere Hollie by fourth round TKO last December 9, 2023 in Saint Paul to pick up his first professional win. Pomeroy weighed in on Friday night at 145.3 pounds while Youngbear weighed in at 147.5 pounds.

Born in Mexico, Arath Luna will box De Angelo Clardy (1-6, 1 KO) of Evansville, Indiana in a four round light heavyweight bout. Bautista-Luna won the 2024 Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Championship in the 176 pound division a few weeks ago and will forgo the upcoming National tournament in Detroit, Michigan to kick off his professional boxing career. Luna and Clardy each weighed in at 174.7 pounds on Friday night in Iowa. Extreme Maximus Boxing presents the action in Iowa.
