JAMAL JAMES SQUARES OFF AGAINST MOLINA IN FOX SPORTS HEADLINER

27 year old Jamal “Shango” James (18-0, 9 KOs) of Minneapolis will take his boxing skills to the big stage once again on January 19, 2016. James will square off against 2008 U.S. Olympian Javier Molina (17-1, 8 KOs) in a bout that will main event on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports Deportes.

“I’m excited to be able to showcase my skills on January 19,” said James in a press release. “It’s extra motivation to have a very formidable opponent in front of me in Javier Molina. I can’t wait to give the fans a show.”

The 25 year old Molina of California and James never faced each other as amateurs but competed at many of the same tournaments and both say they are familiar with one another heading into what is most likely the biggest bout of each man’s pro boxing career.

“I’ve seen Jamal fight in the amateurs. We haven’t fought but we know each other well. I’m very thankful to be in this position, and I plan on making the most of it” said Molina.

James defeated then unbeaten Juan Carlos Abreyu on Bounce TV last September.
