RONDALE HUBBERT FACES ANOTHER PROSPECT TONIGHT IN PHILLY!

Rondale, Hubbert, right, faces Joshafat Ortiz this Saturday night in Pennsylvania.

Rondale “Give Em Hell” Hubbert (14-18-3, 8 KO’s) of Minneapolis, MN will box Joshafat Ortiz (7-0) of Pennsylvania tonight at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. Hubbert defeated Ray Chacon on December 4th in Fargo, ND and was robbed of a victory in Iowa against Shawn West before that back in September. Hubbert weighed in yesterday in Philly at 139 pounds which was 5 over. Ortiz came in 3 pounds under the contracted weight at 131.2 pounds. Hubbert believes that he is the more powerful puncher of the two and that Ortiz gets “greedy” at times and plans on using those moments to strike. Hubbert isn’t happy about missing weight, stating that he was embarrassed but also that he didn’t have the proper opportunity to cut the morning of, instead having to deal with unexpected medicals (eye work and physicals).

“I’m looking forward to this fight because I really think I can pull off this upset tonight” Hubbert told Minnesotaboxing.com. I feel bad about not making weight but as I previously stated, it was not entirely my fault. On the plus side I feel amazing, and I will be the stronger man throwing the harder punches. As always, I want to thank everyone who has shown me love and support throughout the years. You guys give me the motivation to keep going and not give up”.

You can watch the fight live at BXNGTV.com for $19.99. The show is set to begin at around 7 PM CST.
