Kou Lee and Thomas Jenkins are the latest Minnesotan’s to join a growing cast of our state’s elite fighters which have signed with Glory Kickboxing. Lee and Jenkins join Troy Jones Jr. in fighting at Glory 58 on September 14th in Chicago, Illinois. Nate Richardson, Maurice Greene, and Antonio Dvorak are also part of Glory’s growing roster including some of the worlds best kickboxers and Muay Thai fighters.

Kou “Sexy Asian Invasion” Lee of Minneapolis, Minnesota officially announced his signing with Glory on August 23rd. The XFN bantamweight kickboxing champion faces “The Moroccan Maniac” Houssam El Kasri (1-0 with Glory) of Morocco in a preliminary bout shown live on PLUTO TV.

Two times TBA Muay Thai champion Thomas Jenkins (3-1 as a pro, 19-4 amateur) of Hopkins, MN will also make his debut on the Glory 58 card. The 29-year-old announced joining Glory a few days prior to Lee’s signing. Jenkins will face former WKA NATIONAL/WORLD AMATEUR CHAMPION Matt Baker (21-6 overall, 1-1 Glory). Brooklyn Park, Minnesota’s Troy “Trouble” Jones Jr. competes in a one night, 4 man tournament in a featured Glory 58 bout which will also be shown on UFC Fight Pass. Jones defeated Paul Banasiak in his Glory debut last March and will face Casey Greene in the semi-finals of the welterweight tournament. Jones is rated number #17 while Greene is currently at # 16 in Glory’s welterweight rankings. The winner of Jones vs. Greene will face either Omar Moreno (#15)or Mike Lemaire (#13) in the superfight welterweight tournament finals.

Nate Richardson (11-3 overall) of Minneapolis is 1-2 with Glory but many experts and fans alike believe he could be undefeated if the judges had scored his bouts correctly. Richardson does not have a fight with Glory lined up but it’s possible that we see him compete in boxing or MMA this fall.

Maurice “The Pirate” Greene, began his fight career in MMA but signed with Glory because of his love for striking. Greene last competed for Glory in February of 2017. Also known as the “The Crochet Boss”, Greene is competing as a heavyweight on this season of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavy Hitters shown on FS1 every Wednesday. He won the first fight of the show with a spectacular knockout win over Przemyslaw Mysiala. Watch the fight and get the full recap HERE.

Heavyweight Antonio Dvorak of Las Vegas by way of Minneapolis lost his Glory debut on August 10th to the #2 ranked Glory heavyweight D’Angelo Marshall. Despite the first round setback to one of the top kickboxers in the world, it shows the level of skill that Dvorak brings. Dvorak has also competed on the WAKO Team USA Kickboxing squad along with Jones Jr., Richardson, and Jenkins.
