MN STATE CHAMP HERNANDEZ MEETS UNDEFEATED FIGHTER APRIL 16

Minnesota State Super Featherweight champion Ramiro Hernandez (16-0, 10 KO’s) is back in the ring on Friday, April 16, 2021. Hernandez, 32, has fought all but 3 of his fights in the state of Minnesota and will travel to Springfield, MO to face Missouri State Super Featherweight champion Fidel Cervantes (9-0-1, 4 KO’s) of Kansas City, Kansas in an 8 round bout. Hernandez, of Cleveland, Ohio splits time in the Twin Cities training and residing. “La Bala” Hernandez won the MN state title in 2018 after winning an 8 round unanimous decision over Nate Rubin of Thief River Falls, MN in an entertaining bout. Minnesota based trainer Jesse Garza says the two will be working out at Sir Cerresso Fort’s Gym in Saint Paul this week. Expect Hernandez to be seen at various Twin Cities gym’s getting in work to prepare for the important bout.

Fidel Cervantes, 29, won his Missouri state title also in 2018 by defeating Dan Abram (then 4-0). Joe Wooster of Poster Boy Promotions presents the action.
