Minnesota’s Mike “The Marine” Richman is set to defend his BKFC Light Heavyweight Championship on Saturday, May 10, in the main event against Josh “D-Day” Dyer at the Maverik Center in Utah. The event will stream live on DAZN, with tickets available now at BKFC.com.

Both fighters bring serious knockout power into this matchup. Every one of Richman’s BKFC career wins have come by knockout, and Dyer claims an 11-year streak of 100% knockouts in his wins. With those numbers, neither man expects this one to go to the judges.

“This is guaranteed to go down in history,” Dyer said. “Two of the best knockout specialists on Earth doing what they do best. 0% chance this goes to the judges… someone is taking that belt, and someone is going to sleep.”

Though there’s mutual respect, both fighters are coming to win.

“Back into the Arena we go,” Richman said. “Against another Beast who I also consider a friend. At the end of the day, it’s not personal, it’s just business. We are two violent fighters and will have a drink afterwards!”

The two previously shared time in Valor Bare Knuckle, and Dyer acknowledged the unique situation:

“Mike and I have been friends since the old days… I’m not a big fan of fighting my friends, but we both knew this day would come.”

With high stakes and two finishers in the ring, fans can expect fireworks on May 10. Stay tuned to Minnesotaboxing.com for more updates leading up to fight night.
