Troy Jones (10-1, 9 KO’s) is the Glory 58 welterweight tournament winner after Mike Lemaire was unable to continue do to injury prior to the finals. According to Combat Press, reserve fighter Justin Moss was not cleared as a replacement after fighting a tough fight earlier tonight.
In the opening round of the tournament, Jones scored a brutal first-round KO in his first round match against Casey Greene (5-10, 2 KO’s). Jones was in control before putting Greene to sleep with a right kick to the jaw with 1:59 remaining in the first. Watch the right kick to the jaw that finished the fight below.

Thomas Jenkins (3-2, 3 KO’s) was stopped in round three by Matt Baker (21-7). A left-right to the head put the Minnesotan down for the count at 1:05 of round three.

In preliminary action, Kou Lee (2-1, 2 KO’s) was stopped in round two by Houssam El Kasri (2-1, 2 KO’s). Lee closed the distance with his boxing in round one but El Kasri was sharp with knees and kicks. Lee went down in the first round from an El Kasri head kick. He continued to stand straight on and fire back punches in round two but a hard right knee to the jaw dropped him again. The referee waived the fight off with Lee on his feet.
