JUNGLE BOY BOXING BRINGS PRO BOXING BACK TO DULUTH ON MARCH 10

Professional boxing returns to Duluth, MN for the first time in over three years on Friday, March 10, 2023. The 9th annual Jack O’brian Invitational event takes place at The Garden in Duluth and is presented by Zach Walters of Jungle Boy Boxing. Headlining the action will be Duluth native Danny “Lionheart” Huffman (7-2) as he takes on Brandon Baue (17-30).

The co-feature promises to bring fans from all of the state as former state champions Rondale Hubbert of Minneapolis/Duluth and Tony Lee of Saint Paul square off in a meaningful and talent filled bout.

Tony Lee, former Minnesota State lightweight champion, Hubbert former Minnesota State super lightweight champion both say it’s a showdown they’ve been wanting for years.

Rising middleweight Sona Akale (7-0) of Saint Paul faces Noah Kidd (6-7-2) of Missouri in a 154 pound bout.

Near by Superior, WI native Tyler Nystrom debuts against Alex Citrowske in the nights opener.

Jesse Wannemacher was set to compete but his first opponent fell through on Feb. 22 with a second falling apart last week.
