On May 17, 2025, the Kent Freeman Arena in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, will host IGNITE Fights 108, a Pro-Am boxing event that promises an exciting lineup of bouts. Among the anticipated professional bouts is the pro boxing debut of two local fighters: Dominic St. Claire-Badillo residing in Moorehead, MN and Nicholas Olson from Fertile, MN.

Dominic St. Claire-Badillo
Standing at 5’7½”, Badillo boasts an impressive amateur boxing resume. He’s a six-time North Dakota State Champion and clinched the 2023 Upper Midwest Golden Gloves title at 147 pounds. Training out of Toro’s Boxing in Hillsborough, North Dakota & Team Badillo Boxing, he can do it all in the ring from boxing disciplined and technical to mixing it up with power. Local boxing fans are amped to see Dominic’s long awaited debut.
Reflecting on his upcoming debut, Badillo shared:

Nicholas Olson
At 25, Olson is transitioning from MMA to professional boxing for this one. His amateur MMA record stands at 3-5, with victories achieved through knockouts and submissions. Olson’s Muay Thai experience aims to leverage his combat experience in the boxing ring.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Olson stated:
