CIRCLE OF DISCIPLINE BOXING AND MORE SHOWCASE THIS SATURDAY

The Circle of Discipline hosts amateur boxing and more at the “Circle Showcase” this Saturday, November 18, 2023 at the Luminare in Minneapolis. The event will highlight the talent in the Circle’s youth programs which include boxing, poetry/spoken word, rap, art, photography and more. The doors open at 2 PM with the show set to start at 3 PM. COD boxers are set to face-off against competitors from local gyms including Sir Boxing, Northside Boxing, Peek A Boo Boxing and more. There are five bouts scheduled.

The action opens with Santiago Frazier, 10, of COD against Eddison Cuenca, 11, unattached.
Tim Hauch, 31, unattached, faces Andrew Doeksen, 24, of Sir Boxing
Luis Ortiz, 11, of COD boxes Braylen Buckingham, 11, of Northside Boxing
Suhaib Mohammud, 16, of COD meets Ian Chamblin, 15, of Sir Boxing
The final bout of the afternoon has Steve Gomez, 14, of COD boxing Maximus D’Amico, 14, of Peek A Boo Boxing.

The Luminare is known as a top wedding venue and also hosts a variety of other events. It is located off of Interstate I-35W at the 4th Street/University Ave Exit, tucked back in the Marcy-Holmes Neighborhood. The event center is within walking distance from Minneapolis Cider Company, Ninth Street Soccer and Coffee, FiveWatt Coffee, and HeadFlyer Brewing. There is a small parking lot accessible from 8th Street for any accessibility needs. Event guests will be guided to the main event parking lot, located at 610 SE 9th St (North Co Building Parking Lot).
