BOXING: JAMES MAKES WEIGHT IN CALIFORNIA

Minnesota State welterweight champion Jamal “Shango” James made weight last night in Lancaster, California . James will box Diego Chaves tonight (Friday, December 15, 2017) in the co-featured bout on FS1 and Fox Sports Deportes. “Shango” was just under the welterweight limit at 146.6 while Chaves weighed in at 145. The telecast is set to begin at 9PM Central time.
