BOXING: ISMAIL MUWENDO SWEEPS ESQUIVIAS

28 year old Ismail “The Sharp Shooter” Muwendo (19-0, 12 KO’s) defeated Efrain Esquivias
(17-7-1, 13 KO’s) this past Saturday night in Anaheim, California. The fight was the main event on a show promoted by Roy Jones Jr Boxing Promotions. Muwendo easily outpointed the former contender and hometown fighter Esquivias over 8 rounds of action. Two knockdowns scored by Muwendo punctuated a solid victory for the Ugandan born Minnesotan. All three judges scored the fight 80-70 for Muwendo.
