Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship storms into the Maverik Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Saturday, May 10, with a stacked card headlined by a can’t-miss main event: Mike “The Marine” Richman defends his BKFC Light Heavyweight Championship against hard-hitting contender Josh “D-Day” Dyer.
Both fighters successfully made weight earlier today—Richman at 183.5 pounds and Dyer at 184—setting the stage for a high-stakes war between two of the sport’s most dangerous finishers.
Richman (7-3, 1 NC) captured the title in devastating fashion last December, needing just 44 seconds to flatten Jared Warren with a right hand in Florida. Now riding a two-fight win streak, the Minnesota native will make his fourth championship appearance under the BKFC banner.
“Back into the Arena we go,” Richman said earlier this week. “Against another Beast who I also consider a friend. At the end of the day, it’s not personal, it’s just business. We are two violent fighters and will have a drink afterwards!”
His opponent, the No. 4 ranked Dyer (4-1, 2 NC), comes in on a three-fight unbeaten streak and is riding the momentum of a 46-second finish over William Albrecht. Known for his relentless style and one-punch power, Dyer promises an unforgettable clash.

“Mike and I have been friends since the old days… I’m not a big fan of fighting my friends, but we both knew this day would come,” Dyer added.
