RONDALE HUBBERT BACK IN ACTION TONIGHT IN FLORIDA

Rondale Hubbert (15-27-3, 9 KO’s) Of Duluth, MN will face 31 year old southpaw Joseph Fernandez (16-5-3, 6 KO’s) in an 8 round super lightweight bout tonight in Tampa Bay, Florida. The bout will be streamed live at www.alessipromotions.com.

Hubbert’s flight was delayed 7 hours which he described as “One of the longest and most stressful days in my life”, but he made the agreed on weight late last night and the fight is on.

Hubbert lost a hard fought unanimous decision last weekend to prospect Isaiah Efrain Riquelmy (7-1, 4 KO’s) in Florida. It was his comeback following a second achilles rupture injury.

“I expect a tough veteran fighter. I would say he has the same body type as my last opponent but he picks his shots and start off slow. It will be more of a chess match with this guy. I don’t think he’s as young and athletic as my last opponent but I think he will be tough.
