Thanks for the update! I don't think I have ever seen so many RSC's. Looks like a lot of fireworks going on in the Semifinals! I am really not liking not being able to be there!

Real deal

Did Watson really get stopped by Manny C? Would really like to see details with this result was thinking Watson was the cream of the crop and didn't think Manny would bring enough power to the heavy's  8)

Manny and Watson was the best fight of the weekend.....followed by Garcia/Heroff and Thompson/Rose and Owens/Lucero.

Manny and Watson was a war, a couple standing 8s to Watson, but Manny was rocked a few times. Manny stopped Watson a couple months ago in Duluth, also in the 3rd I believe.

Videos will be up shortly.

As good as some of our fighters looked, I think the two with the best chance of advancing in the Nationals are Sergio Garcia, Corey Thompson and Manny Contreras.  Remember, the Nationals are "four" rounds.........  Good Luck to everyone!!

I'm not sure when it changed, but national golden gloves tournament are 3 rounds now.

I agree about those three with best shot of advancing. Oscar Soto may be able to win a fight or two as well.

I believe if Braxton Luger was allowed to finish the fight he would've won the fight, he was matching Sergio Garcia punch for punch and even rocked his world in the 2nd round... Luger didn't have a pretty style but it was effective and he was in the fight the whole way.
