Armando Cordoba, 20-15-1, 15 KO’s, has been fighting professionally for almost 10 years. The Panamanian has fought featherweight contender Robbie Peden and holds a win over former world champion, Antonio Cermeno. He’s fought in Panama, throughout the US and is now scheduled to fight undefeated Jason Litzau at the St. Paul National Armory. Cordoba was kind enough to speak to Minnesota Boxing:

Your nickname is "El Policia", how did you get that nickname?
I worked for the police, but I don’t anymore.

You’ve fought against some good competition, like Robbie Peden. How much will your experience help you in this fight?

My experience is going to help me a lot. I’ve improved a lot and my experience has made things much easier.

Can you describe your style?

I fight how the fight presents itself. I know how to box or whatever.

What do you know about Jason Litzau?

I don’t know much about him. I know that he has a good punch because he has 11 KO’s in 11 fights.
