October 29th Rochester Results

The 4th St.Gym in Rochester Minnesota put on a pro card last Friday. In the main event, Raphael Butler knocked out San Antonio's Glen Morgan now 1-5 at 2:40 of the first round. Morgan showed up to fight and made Butler work for most of the round. A vicious right hand to the head dropped Morgan face first nearing the end of the round. Morgan was unconscious for a few minutes but eventually regained consciousness. Butler improves to 6-0,5 ko's.


South African Heavyweight Courage Tshabalala only needed to land one punch to knock out Minnesotan John Sargent. A left hook to the head at 1:04 of the first round put Sargent down and out. Tshabalala improves to 26-3 while Sargent falls to 27-5.

Travis Walker 4-0 of Florida ko'd John Sargent Jr. at 1:56 of the first round.


Nate Martin 7-3 of Sioux City, IA won a very exciting six round decision over Adonis Frazier 2-3-1 of Minneapolis. Martin pressed the action while Frazier moved more and countered. Martin was able to drop Frazier in the third round and the knockdown might have been the difference. The scores were 57-56, 58-57 for Martin and 59-56 for Frazier.


Scott Ball had a successful pro debut by tko over Cyrus Sargent. Two right hands followed by a left to the head put Sargent on his back. Referee Denny Nelson waived the fight off after talking to Sargent in the corner.


Kenny Kost and James Wayka put on a pretty good exhibition bout to start off the night. At the end of each round both fighters traded and got the crowd rowdy!
