Lindquist
Looks To Even Score With Kilfian
By Jesse Kelley
"The
Wolfman" Marty Lindquist (13-7) of Blaine, MN will have a chance
to even things up with Harley "The Sandman" Kilfian (7-2)
of Menominee, Wisconsin this Saturday night at the Armory in St. Paul,
MN.
Lindquist and Kilfian first met in June of 2008 in Hinckley, MN.
Lindquist's unorthodox style made for a fun opening round in that bout.
However, Kilfian stayed composed and let Lindquist tire himself out
throwing big shots and returned heavy punches of his own in round two.
Lindquist was dropped three times and stopped at 2:54 of the second
round.
"There's justice in the ring and last time, he (Kilfian) won fair
& square" said Lindquist.
Lindquist is back working out at the ACR gym in Coon Rapids, MN and
feels his preparation for this fight will be key to reversing the first
result to his favor.
"This time, I'm doing things different. I've been
in the gym everyday, getting good sparring with Jon Schmidt, Caleb (Truax)
and other guys. I'm living clean and hitting hard. I'm just glad to
be back at it and I'm looking forward to Saturday night!"
